  Our Own Man Cave....With a View

  Every year 8 golfers/fantasy football fanatics/poker players make the trek to Moose Haven for our annual fantasy draft. Moose Haven has everything we need (including 8 separate places to sleep). 2009 marked our 3rd year at Moose Haven, 2010 will be the 4th.

  Grandma and Grandps took a couple of kids and grandbabies who were in awe of the cabin and its surroundings. The location allowed us to let the grandbabies roam in the immediate area and the view was gorgeous. We've used Tica several times and will continue to do so. The local agent called to verify our satisfation and offer any assistance needed. Everything was great.

  Me and 7 others booked this place for a weekend and we had a great time. I would suggest bringing some napkins/paper towels, tupperware, trash bags, and cleaning materials (dishwasher, washer/dryer). Also may want to bring a cooler if you plan on transporting any drinks that need to remain cool, and don't forget any condiments you may want for whatever you may grill.
  Next time I book a cabin it will definitely be with Tica again

  Location was a bit misleading.

  I would have liked the cabin to be a little more secluded. The information on the website was a little misleading in that the location said Blairsville in bold on the bottom of the overview page, then mentioned Young Harris in the detailed narrative description. Probably wouldn't have chosen the cabin if I had known it wasn't in Blairsville. Once we got there, we chose to enjoy our stay where we were rather than dwelling on not being where we thought we would be.

  Sorry for any disappointment this may have caused you. This particular home is managed by our Blairsville office but it is actually located in Young Harris. We have cabins all across the north Georgia mountains so if you have a location preference, please let us know and we will be happy to oblige.

  What a wonderful getaway! Our family stayed at Moose Haven for 3 nights, and it was perfect. The accomodations were lovely, and the cabin was well-equipped. We had plenty of space, and the children had their own play area. The view was terrific, and the fireplace and hot tub were warm and cozy! Can't wait to visit again!

  I have heard many mixed stories about cabins not being clean or needing lots of updates so do your research with the rental company. Tica cabins has a great reputation for only taking on properties that are in good shape with little or no work. I am sure there are others but I would use Tica again based on my last experience. It is up to Tica to keep us and future visitors satisfied. The town itself forces you to relax(if you are from a big city) which in my opinion serves the purpose of a vacation.

  Great cabin and very clean. Property had everything we could want in a cabin. The only negative was that it was so far from Blue Ridge it takes about 30 minutes or so to get to it which made it a little incovenient but overall we had a great time. Ice maker doesnt dispense Ice and the interent had some problems but everything else worked and the office manager was great. Very quick to repsond to messages!
