This beautiful log home is all about making our guests and their dogs feel welcome. Your dogs can run and be completely safe in the fenced in play area in the yard that connects to the house via a ramp from the porch with safety gates. Gladys (the homeowner's pooch) has spent hours of happy play time at Sign of the Dove and she invites your doggies to come to the mountains and be free to roam in her yard and have great fun! Our human guests will enjoy the beautiful mountain view and the comfy cabin furnishings. This cabin has 2 woodburning fireplaces...one in the great room and one on the large porch. The porch also features rocking chairs and a table with chairs for outdoor dining next to the fireplace. The main floor bedroom has a door out to the porch and the upstairs bedroom has a door out to its own private balcony with 2 cozy Adirondack chairs for you to sit while watching the mountains. There is a full bath on each level. There is a flat screen TV in the upstairs bedroom as well as one over the fireplace in the great room. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked to prepare a big mountain feast. This cabin will book up quickly so make your plans to come to the mountains to enjoy the Peace and Tranquility of Sign of the Dove!
